The BEASTARS Final Season, adapting Paru Itagaki's BEASTARS manga, has released new casting and premiere information. These updates are for the concluding season of the acclaimed anime series.

The 500 Cornered Rats Cast Revealed

The cast for characters in The 500 Cornered Rats group has been announced. Yūya Uchida plays Corn. Taku Yashiro is cast as Bean, appearing on the left in the provided image. Haruki Iwata plays Wheat, shown on the right in the image.

Part Two Premieres with New Music

The second part of the season premiered on Netflix on March 7. Satoru Kōsaki, the anime franchise's composer, performs the opening theme song "La Feralia." The Korean group SEVENTEEN performs the new ending theme song "Tiny Light."

New cast members joining for the second part include Houko Kuwashima as Leano, Yūko Minaguchi as Toki, Tomokazu Seki as Deshico, Ryūsei Nakao as Cornu, Genki Muro as Sunaga, Ruriko Aoki as Azuki, and Tomokazu Sugita as Holger.

Other new cast members joining this season are Shinichirō Miki as Yahya, Shigeru Chiba as Gosha, Kōji Okino as Melon, Tesshō Genda as Sagwan, Fumiko Orikasa as Seven, Aya Endō as Inarigumi boss Ten, Wataru Takagi as Madaragumi boss Miso, and Anri Katsu as Dokugumi boss Savon.

Season Structure and Production Team

The season's first part debuted on Netflix in December 2024. The season is divided into two cours. Shinichi Matsumi returns as director, and Nanami Higuchi returns as scriptwriter from the first two seasons. Orange returns for animation production. Satoru Kōsaki and issei performed the opening theme song "Into the World" for the first part, and YU-KA performed the ending theme song "Feel Like This."

The first television anime debuted on Netflix in Japan, Fuji TV's [+Ultra] programming block, and TV Nishinippon in October 2019. It debuted on Netflix outside of Japan in March 2020. BEASTARS Story Overview

Viz Media released the manga in English and describes the story. At a high school, students are literally divided into predators and prey. Personal relationships maintain a fragile peace. A Beastar is an academic and social role model destined to lead in a society with mistrust. An herbivore student was killed and eaten at Cherryton Academy. The drama club's herbivores suspect carnivore classmates. The prime suspect is Legoshi, a large wolf. The description questions if he would hurt a fly, and if dwarf rabbit Haru brings out the beast in him or evokes other feelings.

Manga Publication Details

Paru Itagaki launched her BEASTARS manga in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in September 2016. The manga concluded in October 2020. Akita Shoten published the manga's 22nd and final compiled book volume in January 2021.
