Haibara's Teenage New Game+ Anime Announces Supporting Cast

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kazuki Amamiya's light novel series, "Haibara-kun no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game" (Haibara's Teenage New Game+), has revealed two new additions to its voice cast. This announcement promises to further enrich the already anticipated anime adaptation.

New Voice Actors Join the Cast

Ryouta Suzuki, known for his work in "Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san," will be lending his voice to the character Tatsuya Nagiura. Tomohiro Ono, recognized for his role in "[Oshi no Ko]," will be voicing Reita Shiratori. These additions suggest the anime production is steadily moving forward with a talented cast.

Production Details and Staff

Misuzu Hoshino, who previously worked on "Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii," is directing the anime at Studio Comet. Keiichirou Oochi, responsible for the series composition of "5-toubun no Hanayome," is handling the overall structure of the anime's narrative. Hiromi Ono, known for their work on "Rinkai!," is designing the characters. Sounosuke Takao, who composed the music for "Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi," is composing the anime's musical score. This experienced team hints at a high-quality adaptation.

Light Novel and Manga Information

Kazuki Amamiya began writing the romance comedy light novel series under Hobby Japan's HJ Bunko imprint in December 2021, featuring illustrations by Gin. The ninth volume of the light novel was published in July 2025, indicating ongoing popularity.

A manga adaptation, illustrated by Misaomaru, was serialized on the Comic Fire website from June 2023 to August 2024. The manga adaptation concluded with the publication of its third and final volume on February 2, offering a visual interpretation of the story.

Komochiya began drawing a sequel manga on the same website in December 2024. This sequel suggests continued interest in the "Haibara" universe.

English Release

J-Novel Club licensed the light novel for digital release in English in October 2022. The eighth volume was released in June 2025, and the ninth volume is planned for release on February 27, making the series accessible to an international audience.

Anime Premiere Date

The anime series is scheduled to premiere in April 2026 on TBS, BS11, and other broadcasters. Fans have a release window to look forward to.

The announcement of the supporting cast members and the confirmation of the production team further build anticipation for the upcoming anime adaptation of "Haibara's Teenage New Game+."
