The television anime adaptation of Koneko Hoshizuki's light novel, "Lv999 no Murabito" (The Villager of Level 999), has unveiled exciting new details, including five additional cast members, a second teaser visual, and a promotional video. Fans can anticipate the anime's premiere on TV Tokyo, BS Fuji, and other stations in July 2026.
New Cast Members Announced
The anime adaptation has expanded its voice cast with the addition of five talented actors, each bringing a unique character to life.
- Takako: Voiced by Hiroya Egashira, known for their work in "Kami no Tou: Koubou-sen".
- Rex: Voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki, recognized for their role in "Sword Art Online: Alicization".
- Krull: Voiced by Manaka Iwami, celebrated for their performance in "Tensei Oujo to Tensai Reijou no Mahou Kakumei".
- Tina: Voiced by Aoi Koga, acclaimed for their work in "Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete".
- Paruna: Voiced by Lynn, admired for their role in "Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu".
Production Team Details
The anime adaptation is being brought to life by a dedicated and experienced production team.
Yoshinobu Kasai, known for their work on "180-Byou de Kimi no Mimi o Shiawase ni Dekiru ka?", is directing the anime at Brain's Base. Shinzou Fujita, recognized for their contributions to "Fumetsu no Anata e", is handling the series composition. Kentarou Matsumoto, an animation director from "In/Spectre", is designing the characters. Hiroshi Nakamura, known for their work on "Ansatsu Kyoushitsu", is composing the music.
Light Novel and Manga Information
Koneko Hoshizuki originally began writing the fantasy light novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in July 2015. Enterbrain began publishing the series in April 2016, featuring illustrations by Fuumi. The eighth and final volume of the light novel series was released on January 25, 2019.
Kenichi Iwamoto began drawing a manga adaptation in Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace magazine in May 2017. Kadokawa has published the 19th volume in August 2025, and plans to release the 20th volume on February 25.
