Petals of Reincarnation TV Anime Casts Jun Fukuyama

Petals of Reincarnation Anime Announces Jun Fukuyama as E. Schrödinger
The upcoming television anime adaptation of Mikihisa Konishi's manga, Petals of Reincarnation, has revealed a new addition to its cast. Jun Fukuyama will be voicing the character of E. Schrödinger, described as a gentleman who resembles a cat. This announcement coincided with Japan's Cat Day, celebrated on February 22nd, a date chosen for its phonetic similarity to the sound a cat makes.
Story Overview
Petals of Reincarnation centers on Tōya Senji, a high school student who feels overshadowed by his accomplished older brother. Despite his academic success, Tōya longs to find something he excels at and to become special. His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Haito Luo Buffett, a classmate who had been absent for a long time. He perceives her as extraordinarily talented. Tōya discovers that Haito has used a "branch of reincarnation" to access the abilities of her "past life," where she was the renowned swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. This makes her a "Returner," someone reincarnated with talents from a previous existence. Tōya learns that there are other Returners, and some of them have ambitious plans for their acquired talents.
