Diving Into the Story's Premise

The romantic comedy manga's plot revolves around Rinko, a 24-year-old office worker leading a solitary life in an apartment complex. Rinko harbors a secret passion for anime and manga, a detail she keeps hidden. Her solace comes from reading her favorite manga, "Usaneko-bu," and watching anime after her demanding work schedule. However, her unwinding routine is frequently interrupted by her right-side neighbor, who violently bangs on the wall, demanding silence. Seeking a solution, Rinko turns to her left-side neighbor, Akito Satsuki, a gentlemanly figure, hoping he can mediate with the noisy neighbor. In an unexpected turn of events, the right-side neighbor forcefully kicks down the wall separating their apartments. Rinko is then astonished to discover that this boisterous individual is none other than Haruma Usada, the very creator of her beloved manga, "Usaneko-bu." The chaotic situation escalates when Haruma proceeds to kick through Satsuki's wall as well. This dramatic series of events initiates a peculiar new form of "room sharing" among the three neighbors, setting the stage for humorous and romantic developments.

The Manga's Journey and Success

Watomura launched the "Tadaima, Ojamasaremasu!" manga as a full-color series on the Comic Cmoa manga website in 2020. Since its inception, the manga has maintained an ongoing publication schedule, captivating readers with its unique premise and engaging characters. Its popularity is evident through its impressive digital performance, having garnered over 12 million downloads. Recognizing its widespread appeal, Kadokawa released the manga's third volume in a full-color print edition on January 30. These print volumes offer an added incentive for readers, as they include exclusive bonus stories not available in the digital release, further enhancing the manga's appeal. The consistent success and continued publication highlight the strong connection the story has forged with its audience.
