Fans of the popular series The Beginning After The End have received a fresh wave of updates regarding its upcoming second season. Official announcements from the production's X account confirmed additional cast members, released a new key visual, unveiled the theme songs, and debuted the first promotional video. This highly anticipated season is set to bring more of the beloved story to screens very soon.
Premiere Schedule and Broadcast Channels
The second season of the anime adapting TurtleMe's The Beginning After The End webtoon is scheduled for its premiere on April 1. Viewers can tune in at 11:30 p.m. to catch the first episode on AT-X. Following its debut on AT-X, the season will also be broadcast on several other major television networks, including Fuji TV, Kansai TV, Tokai TV, Hokkaido Cultural Broadcasting, and Fukushima TV, offering wide accessibility for its audience.
New Voices Join the Ensemble
The cast for the second season welcomes two prominent voice actors to its ranks. Ryouta Oosaka, known for his work in series such as Hataraku Maou-sama!, is joining as Blardo Landon. Alongside him, Yumiri Hanamori, recognized for her roles in productions like Jigokuraku, will portray the character Samantha Tempest. For the ending theme, idol group 22/7, who previously performed for Fuguushoku "Kanteishi" ga Jitsu wa Saikyou Datta, will present "Futatsu no Michi." Returning Creative Team and Production Studio
The production of the second season sees the return of key creative personnel, ensuring continuity and consistency with the previous installment. Keitarou Motonaga, who directed Hametsu no Oukoku, is once again at the helm as director at Studio A-CAT. He is joined by other returning staff members, including Takamitsu Kouno as the series composer, known for Kikansha no Mahou wa Tokubetsu desu. Masami Sueoka, who worked on Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta, returns as the character designer. Lastly, Keiji Inai, the music composer for Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka, is also reprising his role to craft the season's score.

The anime draws its story from TurtleMe's original web novel, which was first published in 2017. The webtoon adaptation made its debut on Tapas in July 2018, featuring illustrations by Fuyuki23. A significant development in the webtoon's production saw Rise Entertainment taking over the artwork starting with the sixth season in June 2023. In Japan, the series has been published by Piccoma since 2020 and is set to continue its narrative with the premiere of its seventh season on March 12, indicating ongoing success and expansion.

The first season of the anime aired in 12 episodes during Spring 2025. Crunchyroll facilitated the global distribution of the anime, simulcasting it worldwide with the exception of Asia. Beyond subtitled versions, Crunchyroll also provided both an English dub and a French dub, making the series accessible to a broader international audience. For readers of the original material, Yen Press licensed the webtoon in English in 2021. The tenth volume of the English-language webtoon was released on February 24, with the eleventh volume scheduled to go on sale on August 25.
