"Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian" Season 2 Delayed

Season 2 Pushed Back to 2027

The official website for the anime series "Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san" (Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian) has announced that the second season will be delayed. Originally slated for release in 2026, the new air date is now set for 2027. This postponement comes as a disappointment to fans who eagerly anticipated the continuation of Alya's story.

Reason for the Delay

According to the official statement, the decision to delay the second season was made to further enhance the overall quality of the series. The production committee expressed their sincere apologies to the fanbase who had been looking forward to the new season. They also extended their appreciation for the unwavering support they have received. The team is committed to ensuring the new season meets the expectations of the viewers.

Rosidere Project 2026 Announced

In an effort to engage fans during the extended wait, the team announced the launch of the "Rosidere Project 2026." This initiative aims to involve viewers in the franchise's development. As part of the campaign, fans are encouraged to submit their ideas and suggestions for projects they would like to see realized within the "Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian" universe. These submissions will play a role in shaping future developments, with further updates to be shared through the official website and social media channels. The project is designed to keep fans connected and invested in the series during the production hiatus.

Change in Production Staff

The second season will see some changes in the production staff. Hiroshi Haraguchi, known for his work on "Donten ni Warau," will take over as director. Seong-min Kim, who served as assistant director on "Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita! Precious Friends," will assist Haraguchi. Yuka Yamada, whose credits include "Shiro Seijo to Kuro Bokushi," will handle the series composition. Both Haraguchi and Yamada are replacing Ryouta Itou, who served as the director and series composer for the first season. These changes are intended to bring a fresh perspective to the series.
