Robico's New Manga "To Dusk and Twilight" Now Available on K MANGA

Robico, the creator behind popular manga such as "My Little Monster" and "Our Precious Conversations," has a new series available for English-speaking audiences. Kodansha's K MANGA service recently added "To Dusk and Twilight" (Yūyami to Kataware) to its digital library. This provides fans with an accessible way to enjoy Robico's latest work.

Story Overview

"To Dusk and Twilight" tells an unusual tale that blends supernatural elements with human connection. The story begins with a man contemplating suicide when he encounters a vampire girl who appears to be an ordinary high school student. She asks him for his blood, and he, ready to die, offers himself to her. However, instead of meeting his end, an unexpected bond begins to form between them. The series explores the relationship between humans and the uncanny, focusing on lost souls finding companionship.

Origins and Serialization

The manga began as a one-shot that was first published in the U.S. print release of Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine in August of last year. The one-shot gained enough popularity to warrant a short-term serialization. This serialization launched on Kodansha's YanMaga Web website on February 19. Now, K MANGA is bringing this series to English readers.

Robico's Previous Works

Robico is well-known for creating engaging and heartfelt stories. Her most famous work, "My Little Monster" (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun), ran in Kodansha's Dessert magazine from 2008 to 2013. The series was a major success and has been published in English by Kodansha Comics. "My Little Monster" also inspired a 13-episode anime series that aired in Japan in 2012, which was streamed by Crunchyroll. Furthermore, a live-action film adaptation of the manga premiered in April 2018, demonstrating its widespread appeal. Robico's other manga, "Our Precious Conversations," has also been released in English by Kodansha Comics and K MANGA.
