In the Clear Moonlit Dusk Gets Live-Action Film This Fall

Live-Action Film Adaptation of "In the Clear Moonlit Dusk" Announced
A live-action film adaptation of Mika Yamamoris manga series, "In the Clear Moonlit Dusk" is slated for release this fall. The announcement was made by TBS, generating excitement among fans of the popular manga.
Cast and Crew
Shunsuke Michieda, known for his roles in the live-action television series "My Love Mix-Up!" and "The Kindaichi Case Files," will star as Kohaku Ichimura. Seira Anzai, who appeared in the live-action film "Insomniacs After School" and the live-action television series "Trillion Game," will play Yoi Takiguchi.
Kentarō Takemura, who also directed the live-action television series "Trillion Game," will direct the film. Yuichi Tokunaga, the scriptwriter for the live-action television series "Densha Otoko," is writing the screenplay. The music will be composed by Shū Kanematsu, known for his work on "My Next Life as a Villainess All Routes Lead to Doom!" and "Aquarion Myth of Emotions."
TBS TV is overseeing production at TBS Sparkle, and TOHO is responsible for distribution.

Yamamori launched the manga in Dessert magazine in 2020. Kodansha published the mangas tenth compiled book volume on January 13. The manga gained recognition, ranking #11 on the list of manga for female readers in the 2023 edition of Takarajimashas Kono Manga ga Sugoi! guidebook.
Anime Adaptation
An anime adaptation of the manga premiered on January 11 on TBS and affiliated channels. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan, bringing the story to a wider audience.
