Haibara's Teenage New Game+ Anime Adaptation Unveils Cast, Staff, and First Promotional Video
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kazuki Amamiya's Haibara-kun no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game light novel has revealed exciting new details regarding the production. Fans can anticipate the series premiere on TBS, BS11, and other networks in April 2026.
New Cast Members Announced
The anime will feature a talented cast bringing the beloved characters to life. Miori Motomiya will be voiced by Kanna Nakamura, known for her role in Watashi ga Koibito ni Nareru Wake Nai jan, Muri Muri! (※Muri ja Nakatta!?). Aya Yamane, recognized for her work in Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku, will voice Uta Sakura. Sayumi Suzushiro, celebrated for her performance in Bocchi the Rock!, will portray Yuino Nanase.
Production Staff Details
The anime is being brought to life by a skilled team of industry professionals. Seo-gu Lee, known for his work on Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte, will serve as the Art Director. Aiko Yamagami, whose credits include Kuroiwa Medaka ni Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsuujinai, will be responsible for Color Design. Shintarou Sakai, who worked on Kanojo, Okarishimasu, will be the Director of Photography. Hideaki Murai, recognized for his editing work on Mushoku no Eiyuu: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Iranakatta n da ga, will handle the Editing. Yayoi Tateishi, known for her Sound Direction in Koujo Denka no Kateikyoushi, will serve as the Sound Director. Sound Production will be handled by Jinnan Studio.
Key Creative Team
Misuzu Hoshino, known for her work on Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii, is directing the anime at Studio Comet. Keiichirou Oochi, who worked on 5-toubun no Hanayome, is handling the series composition. Hiromi Ono, whose credits include Rinkai!, is designing the characters. Sounosuke Takao, recognized for his music composition in Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi, is composing the music.
Light Novel and Manga Adaptations
Kazuki Amamiya began writing the romance comedy novel under Hobby Japan's HJ Bunko imprint in December 2021, with illustrations by Gin. Hobby Japan published the ninth volume on July 1. A manga adaptation by Misaomaru was serialized on the Comic Fire website from June 2023 to August 2024. Hobby Japan published the second and final volume on October 31. A sequel manga by Komochiya began serialization on the same website in December 2024.
English Release
J-Novel Club licensed the light novel for digital release in English in October 2022 and published the eighth volume on June 20. The ninth volume is planned for a February 27 release.
