Arcana Famiglia Rinato Launches on Steam After Nintendo Switch Debut

HuneX and Dramatic Create have released Arcana Famiglia Rinato (La storia della Arcana Famiglia: Rinato) on PC via Steam this Thursday. Along with the game launch, the original soundtrack is also available as downloadable content. This release follows the game's initial launch on the Nintendo Switch in July 2025.

Multi-Language Support and Anniversary Celebration

Arcana Famiglia Rinato boasts support for multiple languages, including Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. The game features Japanese audio. This new title celebrates the 13th anniversary of the original Arcana Famiglia game. It is a port of the PlayStation Vita version, which was released in 2015 under the title La storia della Arcana Famiglia: Ancora.

Franchise Origins and Success

The Arcana Famiglia franchise began as an adventure game for female players, developed by HuneX (VitaminX Addiction) and Comfort Soft in 2011. The initial game achieved significant success, selling over 50,000 copies. This success led to the creation of two spinoffs in 2012, titled Vascello Phantasma no Majutsushi and Festa Regalo, as well as a full sequel, Arcana Famiglia 2, in 2013.

Anime Adaptation and Streaming

The Arcana Famiglia franchise inspired a television anime series in 2012. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Sentai Filmworks later released the anime on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in 2013. Crunchyroll provides the following description of the anime's storyline:

The prosperous island of Regalo in the Mediterranean Sea is protected by a vigilante group called "Arcana Famiglia." The group's members are granted special powers through contracts with the "Toracco." Felicitá, the only daughter of the Papa and head of the family, has her mother's beauty as well as superior skill with knives. Though she was raised deep in the island, at age 16 she takes her first steps into the spotlight as a member of the family. Then, at her birthday party, her father, Mondo, announces that he is retiring. He declares a competition to determine his successor - and Felicitá must marry the winner. Felicitá enters the competition herself, determined to win so that she can decide her own path. The curtain will soon rise on the battle that will determine her fate!

Stage Play Adaptations

In addition to the anime adaptation, the Arcana Famiglia series inspired multiple stage plays in 2016 and 2017. These stage adaptations further expanded the franchise's reach and popularity. The stage plays brought the characters and story of Arcana Famiglia to life in a new and exciting way.
