'Saijo no Osewa' Reveals Main Cast, Staff, Teaser Promo, Summer 2026 Premiere

Rich Girl Caretaker Anime Adaptation Announced for 2026
Mainichi Broadcasting System has officially announced an anime adaptation of Yuusaku Sakaishi's light novel series, "Saijo no Osewa: Takane no Hanadarake na Meimonkou de, Gakuin Ichi no Ojousama Seikatsu Nouryoku Kaimu wo Kagenagara Osewa suru Koto ni Narimashita," which translates to "Rich Girl Caretaker: I'm Secretly the Caregiver of the Most Popular Girl in This Rich Kid School." The official website for the anime launched recently, confirming that it will be a television series and revealing key details about the production. The premiere is scheduled for July 2026.
Main Cast Revealed
The voice cast for the main characters has been announced. Yuuto Uemura, known for his role in "Vinland Saga," will be voicing Itsuki Tomonari. Konomi Kohara, recognized for her work in "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War," will be playing Hinako Konohana.
Production Staff Details
The anime is being brought to life by a talented team of creators. Shuusei Morishita, who previously directed "School Babysitters," is directing the series. Aya Yoshinaga, known for "Welcome to Japan, Elf-san," is handling the series composition. Hisashi Kawashima, who worked on "Salaryman ga Isekai ni Ittara Shitennou ni Natta Hanashi," is designing the characters. Takeshi Takadera, the sound director for "Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie," is in charge of sound direction. The music is composed by Natsumi Tabuchi, known for "The Quintessential Quintuplets," Mayo Kurihara, who worked on "Hell Mode," and Hanae Nakamura, recognized for "My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom." Brains Base is the animation studio producing the anime.
Light Novel and Manga Information
Yuusaku Sakaishi began writing the romantic comedy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in April 2020. Hobby Japan started publishing the series under its HJ Bunko imprint in May 2021, featuring illustrations by Sakura Miwabe. The 11th volume was released in October 2025. A manga adaptation by Sorahiko Mizushima began serialization on Hobby Japan's Comic Fire website in July 2021. The fifth volume of the manga was released in December 2025.
English Release
For English-speaking fans, Monogatari Novels has licensed the light novel series. The first three volumes are scheduled to be released on March 3.
