'Tadaima, Ojamasaremasu!' TV Anime Debuts in April

"I'm Home, Sorry for the Intrusion!" Anime Adaptation Set to Premiere in April

The television anime adaptation of Watomura's manga, "Tadaima, Ojamasaremasu!" which translates to "I'm Home, Sorry for the Intrusion!" is scheduled to begin airing in April. This announcement has generated considerable excitement among fans of romantic comedies.

Plot Overview

The manga centers on Rinko Nakama, a 24-year-old office worker who leads a double life as a closeted otaku. Living alone in an apartment complex, Rinko juggles the demands of her professional life with her passion for manga and anime. Her favorite manga series is titled "Usaneko-bu". Unfortunately, her enjoyment of anime is frequently disrupted by her neighbor to the right, who persistently bangs on the wall, demanding that Rinko keep the noise down.

In an attempt to resolve the issue, Rinko seeks assistance from Akito Satsuki, her kind and considerate neighbor to the left. She hopes that Akito can mediate a conversation with the noisy neighbor through the wall. However, the situation takes an unexpected turn when the right-side neighbor, instead of engaging in a discussion, proceeds to kick down the wall separating their apartments.

Rinko is taken aback when she discovers that her right-side neighbor is actually Haruma Usada, the creator of her beloved manga, "Usaneko-bu". To further complicate matters, Haruma ends up kicking through Satsuki's wall as well, leading to an unconventional and chaotic "room sharing" arrangement between the three neighbors. This bizarre setup sets the stage for a series of comedic and romantic encounters.

Key Characters and Voice Actors

The anime features a talented cast of voice actors who bring the characters to life. Kana Hanazawa voices Rinko Nakama, the protagonist of the story. Kaito Ishikawa lends his voice to Akito Satsuki, the gentle neighbor who becomes entangled in the unusual living situation. Haruki Ishiya voices Haruma Usada, the manga creator with a penchant for kicking down walls.

Production Team

Itsuki Imazaki, known for his work on "Ai Mai Mi", "Adventurers Who Don't Believe in Humanity Will Save the World", and "Hensuki", is directing the anime at Tatsunoko Production. Imazaki is also responsible for overseeing the series scripts. Makoto Takada, who has previously contributed to "Adventurers Who Don't Believe in Humanity Will Save the World", "Hensuki", and "My Wife is the Student Council President+!", is assisting Imazaki with writing the scripts. Shunsuke Kikuchi, whose credits include "Hensuki", "Migi & Dali", and "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury", is designing the characters and serving as the chief animation director.
