Kumarba Anime Gets 3rd Season in April, Shifts From 3D to 2D

Kumarba Anime Shifts to 2D and a New Setting in Season 3
The popular children's anime, Kumarba, is set to return for a third season in April, bringing with it some significant changes for fans. Based on the YouTube channel of the same name, the show is undergoing a visual transformation and introducing a brand new location.
A Change in Animation Style
One of the most notable changes is the shift from 3D animation to 2D animation. While the first two seasons utilized 3D visuals to bring Kumarba and his friends to life, the upcoming season will embrace a more traditional 2D style. This change in animation is expected to give the show a fresh and updated look, potentially appealing to a wider audience.
Welcome to Toytoyland
The third season introduces a brand new setting: Toytoyland. This whimsical town is built entirely out of toys, creating a visually stimulating and imaginative backdrop for Kumarba's adventures. Kumarba and his friends are invited to Toytoyland to record content for the Kumarba Channel, promising plenty of fun and exciting moments.
A Robotic Mystery Unfolds
While the initial invitation to Toytoyland seems like a dream come true, things quickly take a turn for the strange. A mysterious robot-shaped toy factory stands at the center of Toytoyland, and it appears to be the source of some unusual happenings. The plot thickens as Bagurin, the mischievous internet-dwelling virus, hacks into the factory's admin computer, unleashing chaos upon Toytoyland. Kumarba and his friends must work together to uncover the source of the strange events and restore order to the town.
New Production Team Takes the Helm
With the new season comes a new production team. Tommy Hino, known for his work on Crane Game Girls, Nmeneko, and Pastel Life, will be directing the third season at Akatsuki Media Studio. Takashi Mizuno is responsible for writing and supervising the series' scripts, ensuring a compelling narrative for the new season.
Familiar Voices Return
Fans of the Kumarba anime will be pleased to know that the original voice cast from the YouTube channel will be reprising their roles. Fairouz Ai will continue to voice Kumarba, Mai Satō returns as Tabris, Honoka Inoue as Nekorun, and Picciolina as Bagurin. Their familiarity with the characters will ensure a seamless transition into the new season.
