'Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin to Skirt-take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi' Unveils Additional Cast Pair, Theme Songs, First Promo


New Anime Alert: Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin to Skirt-take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi

The upcoming television anime adaptation of Takuma Yokotas school romantic comedy manga, Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin to Skirt-take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi (The Story of a Useless Disciplinary Committee Member and a High School Girl with an Inappropriate Skirt Length), has revealed exciting new details. Fans can anticipate the broadcast premiere on April 6 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, with subsequent airings on BS Asahi and AT-X.

Additional Cast Members Announced

The anime production team has expanded the voice acting ensemble with the addition of two talented performers. Yuuko Kaida, recognized for her roles in Gintama, will be lending her voice to the character Nadeshiko Yamato. Tetsu Inada, known for his work in Kill la Kill, is set to voice Kaoru Kogori.

Key Visual and Theme Songs Unveiled

A brand-new key visual has been released, offering a glimpse into the shows aesthetic and character designs. Furthermore, the opening and ending theme songs have been revealed. Rock band osage, known for Ao no Miburo, will perform the opening theme titled Hitorigoto. MEminor will be responsible for the ending theme, Heya to Garakuta to Watashi. Both songs are featured in the newly released promotional video.

Production Team Details

Daiji Iwanaga, who served as chief director for Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru, will be helming the television anime at Zero-G. Masahiro Yokotani, recognized for his work on Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!, is handling the series composition and will also be contributing to the script alongside Takahito Oonishi and Tomoko Konparu. You Himuro, an animation director from Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru, is designing the characters. The music is being composed by Kanki Iwamoto, Hisashi Tenkyuu, Takashi Toriyama, and Yoshiaki Kitazume.

Manga Publication Information

Takuma Yokota began serializing the manga in Shounen Sirius in March 2019. Kodansha published the 19th volume on December 9, with the 20th volume scheduled to be released on March 9.
