Viz Media Announces New Manga Titles and Box Sets for Fall 2026
Viz Media has unveiled a slate of new manga titles and box sets scheduled for release in Fall 2026. The announcement includes a diverse range of genres and stories, promising a lot for manga fans in the coming years. Here’s a look at the titles Viz Media will be bringing to English-speaking audiences.
The Apothecary Diaries: Maomao’s Notes on the Inner Palace
The official manga adaptation of the light novel series, "The Apothecary Diaries: Maomao’s Notes on the Inner Palace," is set to release its first volume in Fall 2026. The manga features art by Minoji Kurata, with the story by Hyuganatsu and character designs by Touko Shino. Viz Media acknowledged Hyuganatsu's preference for this spelling of their name. The series garnered significant attention, selling 220,000 copies between April 2024 and March 2025, and receiving a nomination in the Shogakukan Manga Awards.
Call of the Night: Paradise Arc
Fans of "Call of the Night" can look forward to the "Paradise Arc" manga. This bonus volume explores the future of the characters after the series conclusion. In this story, Ko embarks on a life of vampire hunting, offering a new chapter in the popular series. Kotoyama ended the short manga in August 2025.
Heroes
From Inio Asano, the creator of "Goodnight Punpun," comes "Heroes," a new take on adventure comics. The story follows a band of heroes who gather to defeat a darkness threatening the kingdom. The manga will feature interiors printed in black and red ink. Asano published the first chapter in 2015 and the second in 2016. The series returned as a one-volume mini-series in 2018.
Sound of a Blink
Shūzō Oshimi, known for his acclaimed works, is bringing a raw, intimate, coming-of-age memoir titled "Sound of a Blink." This manga delves into themes of family, guilt, and facing a future shaped by tragedy. Oshimi launched the manga in December 2023.
Witching Hour
Paru Itagaki, the creator of "BEASTARS," is releasing "Witching Hour." The story revolves around Megumi, a woman cheating on her husband with a ghost. The ghostly affair offers intimacy she can't resist, but risks exposure. Itagaki launched the series in October 2024.
The Amazing Digital Circus
Based on the Australian animated series, "The Amazing Digital Circus" manga adaptation is coming in Fall 2026. The series follows Pomni, who becomes trapped in a virtual reality with other humans and is subject to the whims of an AI. The animated series premiered on YouTube in 2023 and was later nominated for an Annie Award in 2024. The first volume of the manga debuted in Japan in September 2025.
Albus Changes the World
"Albus Changes the World," with story by Akihisa Maki and art by Miki Yatsubo, is also slated for release. The story follows Albus, a hero with the power to turn back time, as he speed-runs his adventure to beat the Demon Lord. The series was one of the top 20 print manga in Next Manga Awards 2025.
The Seaside Where Dragon Boys Dwell
Asato Shima's "The Seaside Where Dragon Boys Dwell" is another title to look forward to. The story follows Mizuka, who meets a dragon boy named Tenshin in a town known for its dragon folk. The series ranked #5 in the 2026 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! list for female readers.
Yakuza vs. Cat
"Yakuza vs. Cat" by Yori Katakura introduces ex-yakuza leader Hisahide, whose quiet life is interrupted by a stray cat. The two fight for dominance in this story. The first manga volume was released in June 2023.
Shiba Inu Rooms
"Shiba Inu Rooms" by Esu Omori tells the story of high schooler Kori, who finds her apartment haunted by a Shiba Inu ghost named Mu. The two must learn to coexist. Viz Media licensed "Shiba Inu Rooms" for digital release in 2025.
And Then There Were None
Agatha Christie's mystery classic, "And Then There Were None," has been adapted into a manga by Aya Nikaido. The story follows ten strangers trapped on an island with a killer among them. The three-volume manga series was released in February 2025.
Yona of the Dawn (3-in-1 Edition)
Viz Media will release "Yona of the Dawn" in a 3-in-1 edition. The series follows Princess Yona, who loses her family and kingdom and must fight for her throne. Viz Media licensed Mizuho Kusanagi's series in 2015. The series ended in December 2025, and a sequel to the 2014 anime series is in development.

My Hero Academia Box Set 2
This box set will contain the final 22 volumes of the "My Hero Academia" series.
Jujutsu Kaisen Complete Box Set
The "Jujutsu Kaisen Complete Box Set" will include all 30 volumes of the manga series, Volume 0, and a double-sided poster.
Black Torch Complete Box Set
The "Black Torch Complete Box Set" collects the five-volume manga series and includes a new exclusive double-sided poster.
One Piece Box Set 5: Wano to Egghead
"One Piece Box Set 5: Wano to Egghead" collects volumes 91-111, covering the Wano and Egghead arcs. The box set also includes a double-sided poster and an exclusive "One Piece" Card Game play mat.
