Culdcept Series Gets 2 New Games

Culdcept Begins Announced for Multiple Platforms

Neos revealed Culdcept Begins, the newest installment in the Culdcept series, during the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase this Thursday. The game is slated for release on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on July 16. A PC version via Steam will also be available on the same day.

Culdcept the First Also on the Way

Adding to the Culdcept excitement, City Connection has announced Culdcept the First. This title is scheduled to launch on July 30 for Switch, PS5, Xbox Series XS, and PC via Steam. Both companies have released trailers showcasing their respective games.

The Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase sizzle reel features Culdcept Begins, starting at approximately 1 minute and 14 seconds into the video. Standalone announcement trailers for both Culdcept Begins and Culdcept the First are also available for viewing.

A Look Back at Culdcept History

The original Culdcept, a turn-based strategy card game, made its debut on the Sega Saturn in 1997. Over the years, the game has been released on various platforms, including PlayStation, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS.

Series Recent History

Culdcept Revolt, the most recent entry in the series, was released in the West for Nintendo 3DS in October 2017 after a delay. It initially launched in Japan in July 2016. The Culdcept franchise celebrated its 20th anniversary that year.
