Beastars Final Season Part 2: New Cast, Theme Song, and Final PV Released

The official website for the Beastars Final Season net anime has unveiled exciting updates for its highly anticipated second part. Fans can look forward to a new cast, a captivating opening theme, and a final promotional video that offers a glimpse into the concluding chapters of this compelling story. The second part of the final season is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix worldwide on March 7.

New Cast Members Announced

Adding depth and intrigue to the already rich tapestry of characters, several new cast members have been announced. Aya Endou, known for her role in Jujutsu Kaisen, will be voicing Ten. Wataru Takagi, recognized for his work in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, will be bringing Miso to life. "LA FERALIA": A New Opening Theme

The opening theme song for the final season's second part is titled "LA FERALIA," composed by the talented Satoru Kousaki, who is also known for his work on Kusuriya no Hitorigoto. The song promises to capture the essence of the anime's themes and set the stage for the final arc. A preview of "LA FERALIA" can be heard in the final promotional video.

Returning Staff and Production Team

Shinichi Matsumi, who directed the previous seasons of Beastars, is returning to helm the final chapter at Orange. Nanami Higuchi, the scriptwriter for Dungeon Meshi, is penning the script, ensuring a compelling and faithful adaptation of the source material. Nao Ootsu, known for their work on Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi, and Takushige Norita, recognized for Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai, are designing the characters. Satoru Kousaki is also composing the music for the final season, ensuring a cohesive and evocative soundtrack.

The Source Material: Paru Itagaki's Beastars Manga

The Beastars anime is based on the manga by Paru Itagaki, which was serialized in Shounen Champion magazine from September 2016 to October 2020. Akita Shoten published the 22nd and final volume in January 2021, marking the conclusion of the manga series.

VIZ Media's English Release

VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in November 2018, bringing the world of Beastars to a wider audience. They shipped the 22nd and final volume in January 2023, allowing English-speaking fans to experience the entirety of Itagaki's story.

Final Promotional Video

The final promotional video offers a tantalizing glimpse into the events of the second part of the final season. It showcases the returning characters, the new cast members, and the captivating animation style that has become synonymous with the Beastars anime.
