Trails in the Sky SC Remake Set to Launch in Fall 2026

Nihon Falcom has announced that the remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC (Second Chapter) is slated for release in Fall 2026. The first game was released simultaneously worldwide on September 19 for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. In December 2015, Nihon Falcom released a remastered version of the game in Japan titled The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC Evolution. The original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky debuted in Japan for PC in 2004. It was later released on PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. XSEED Games localized and released The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky in 2011 for the PlayStation Portable. The game also inspired The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky anime in 2011.

NIS America released The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II (The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN-) game for Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG in English in February 2025. The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN- launched for PS4 and PS5 in Japan in September 2022.
