One of the standout announcements was the licensing of Momoshiro and Tomoko Mitsuki's delightful romance, Love Is the Sweetest Journey (Tabi wa Ui Mono Amai Mono). This heartwarming travelogue follows Suzune, who, after a devastating breakup, embarks on a soul-cleansing trip to Miyazaki Prefecture. Her journey takes an unexpected turn when she encounters Yuujin, a novelist battling writer's block. Their serendipitous meeting leads to an intriguing proposition: travel together.
Fans can look forward to exploring real-world Japanese locations through Suzune and Yuujin's romantic adventures, discovering new places and perhaps even new love. Omoi is set to begin releasing English chapters of Love Is the Sweetest Journey in 2027. The original manga, written by Momoshiro and illustrated by Mitsuki, concluded its run on Bungeishunju's Seasons manga website earlier this year, with its sixth and final compiled volume published in April.
A Snow Fox at the Northern Fort Gets Print Release
For those who prefer physical manga, Omoi also shared fantastic news regarding A Snow Fox at the Northern Fort (Kita no Toride nite). This beloved series, with art by Tawa Akeno, story by Tsukasa Mikuni, and character designs by Sochu, which Omoi licensed and began releasing weekly chapters for digitally earlier this year, will now receive a black-and-white print edition.
Scholastic's Graphix imprint will be handling the print release, with volumes expected to hit shelves in fall 2027. This partnership marks an exciting step, making the charming tale of A Snow Fox at the Northern Fort accessible to an even wider audience in a cherished physical format.
Expanding the Digital Library with New Partnerships
Omoi's commitment to offering a vast selection of manga was further underscored by several significant additions to its digital platform. The publisher announced a partnership with Titan Manga, bringing a massive catalog of 45 new titles to Omoi in the coming weeks. Fans can already dive into select volumes from SANDA, Record Journey, and The Elegant Courtly Life of the Tea Witch, with the full roster of Titan Manga titles becoming available soon.
These new additions will be accessible to Omoi Premium subscribers, with individual volumes also available for separate purchase, offering flexibility for all readers. Furthermore, Omoi is set to add Banjo Saitou's Vegetable Sandwich manga from Manga Mavericks Books. This title, licensed by Manga Mavericks Books in January, will be available for Omoi Premium subscribers starting September 29.

Launched in June 2021 as Azuki, Omoi has steadily grown its platform, providing simulpub manga chapters shortly after their Japanese release, alongside an extensive library of other titles.
