The roots of Hitoribocchi no Isekai Kouryaku trace back to October 2016, when author Shouji Goji began penning the fantasy adventure novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website. Comic Gardo magazine began serializing the manga, with artwork by Bibi, in January 2019. The 26th volume of the manga was released on January 25, with the 27th volume eagerly awaited and set for a July 20 release. This consistent output demonstrates the strong demand and ongoing narrative development within the manga adaptation.
Global Reach: English Language Releases
For English-speaking fans, both the light novel and manga adaptations are readily available thanks to dedicated licensing efforts. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the light novel in English in February 2021, allowing readers outside Japan to dive into the protagonist's unique journey. The 14th light novel volume went on sale on April 21, and fans can look forward to the 15th volume arriving on September 29.
Kaiten Books holds the English license for the manga, having acquired it in March 2020. The 12th manga volume was digitally released in June 2025, ensuring that the saga continues for manga enthusiasts globally.
