Mamonotsukai no Musume began as a web novel by Damu Amato on Shousetsuka ni Narou (2016-2024). Drecom Media later published it as a light novel under DRE Novels (Dec 2024), with illustrations by Shirabi. Volumes were released in July 2025, with a third due July 10. A manga adaptation by Yuu Satou launches on Drecomi+ in September 2026. J-Novel Club licensed the light novel for digital English release (July 2025), publishing volumes in November 2025 and February 13.
