Yō Samori's manga adaptation of Kazuki Amamiya and Ale's light novel series, "A Reincarnation Romantic Comedy of a Hero and a Witch," has reached its conclusion. The final chapter premiered early on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket service this past Monday.

The official release of the final chapter is scheduled for February 16. Fans have eagerly anticipated the ending of this reincarnation romance story.

From Light Novel to Manga: A Tale of Two Lives

The story follows Godō Shiraishi, an ordinary high school student leading a seemingly normal life. However, Godō harbors a secret: he possesses memories of a past life as a hero in another world, where he valiantly saved humanity from destruction.

His mundane existence takes an unexpected turn with the arrival of Mai Shiina, a transfer student who also holds a secret of her own. This encounter sets the stage for a romantic comedy with a touch of reincarnation and otherworldly elements.

Manga's Journey: A Quick Ascent

Samori's manga adaptation debuted on Magazine Pocket in November 2024. The manga quickly gained popularity.

Kodansha published the first compiled book volume in March 2025. The third and final volume was released on November 7.

The original light novel series by Kazuki Amamiya and artist Ale served as the foundation for the manga adaptation. Kodansha released the first volume in November 2021.
