Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is the 21st theatrical anime film in the Dragon Ball series, released on June 11, 2022. It is the second new theatrical film following Dragon Ball Super: Broly after four years. The film introduces a fresh storyline while maintaining connections to past events and characters.

The Revival of the Red Ribbon Army

The core plot revolves around the revival of the Red Ribbon Army and their world domination scheme. Though the Red Ribbon Army was previously annihilated by Goku, they make a comeback through Dr. Hedo, the 24-year-old genius grandson of Dr. Gero. Manipulated by Magenta, Dr. Hedo creates new androids, leading to the rebirth of the Red Ribbon Army.
