Happy Birthday to Anime Voice Actress Marina Inoue!



Popular anime voice actress Marina Inoue celebrates her 29th birthday today on January 20. She was born in Musahino-city, Tokyo, on January 20, 1985. She won Sony Music SD Group Voice Actor/Actress Audition from 2,000 applicants in 2003 and made her debut as a professional anime voice actress for Cossette d'Auvergne in the 2004 OVA Le Portrait de Petit Cossette.



One of her most famous roles was probably Yoko Littner in the 2007 TV series Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and its two feature films in 2008 and 2009. And the character made her so famous among general Japanese people was no doubt Nao Midorikawa/Cure March in Smile PreCure! (2012-2013). Like other PreCure voice actresses, she is still loved by Japanese kids as the voice of one of the nationally popular anime characters.
